I got a call from Jim at Mobile RV Repair in Ingram Texas yesterday saying my awning material was in. We set an appointment for 10:00 a.m. this morning. This is them.
I got there on time and they started on time. After numerous problems they got it installed and working properly. The problem was that they had to replace the springs on both sides. This DID NOT surprise me in anyway. It would go up for me, but needed help.
Now it goes up and down just like it should. Their work was excellent. You can't put one of these things on without getting hand prints on it. After it was installed they totally cleaned it. I also had bought one of THESE and they installed it for me. They were our of Dicor and had a shipment coming in later today. They said they will come to our location and put it on within the next couple of days. I believe them.
I will post a picture in the next couple of days hopefully.
This is just like a home, you are always having to fix or replace something. Our coach is a 1999, so I think 12 to 13 years is pretty good for awning life.
Hard to find competent, reasonably priced help, especially in a smaller market...sounds like u found one...
