Movie Review - ARGO

"Argo" chronicles the life-or-death covert operation to rescue six Americans, which unfolded behind the scenes of the Iran hostage crisis-the truth of which was unknown by the public for decades. On November 4, 1979, as the Iranian revolution reaches its boiling point, militants storm the U.S. embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage. But, in the midst of the chaos, six Americans manage to slip away and find refuge in the home of the Canadian ambassador. Knowing it is only a matter of time before the six are found out and likely killed, a CIA "exfiltration" specialist named Tony Mendez comes up with a risky plan to get them safely out of the country.

Starring:  Kyle Chandler, Bryan Cranston, Ben Affleck, John Goodman, Clea DuVall

This was a movie that for some reason I did not want to see.  But, momma wanted to see it and when she is happy I am happy (and not in the dog house).

I think the reason I did not want to see it was because I did not want a bunch of politics thrown at me.

Boy am I glad I like to do what my wife wants to do.  There were no politics being crammed down our throats, just popcorn.

This was apparently a true happening.  What?  Do I live in a cave?  It was very interesting, entertaining, stressful, and even funny.

I recommend it.  Oh by the way.  Novel idea here.  There was no sex.  Now I have nothing against sex, but it was refreshing to watch a good movie without it.
