Q98.9 has announced the date for ROCKFEST 2013. It is May 11th and will once again be at Liberty Memorial Park. Here is the countdown clock for the announcement of who will be playing. ROCKFEST 2103
What the heck is Rockfest you might ask. It is advertised as the largest ONE Day outside rock concert in the US. Last year there were over 55000 screaming rock fans that attended and I think there were 12 bands in a 12 hour period. If you have never been to anything like this, it is quite the experience. I love rock music. I normally stay on the outskirts of the crowd which is huge. They always have two different stages going so there is always someone playing at one end or the other.
As one of my grandsons says, "Rock out baby!"
