Bake! Bake! Bake!

This retirement thing is really tough.  I have finally gotten to the point where I can sleep until 6:00 a.m. instead of what use to be 4:50 a.m.

Since today was a little cooler we decided to bake cookies.   We started by making a large batch of oatmeal cookie dough with black walnuts in it.  Then we broke it down and made three different batches (raisin, peanut butter chip, and chocolate chip).  We baked until almost 2:30 and then had lunch.  By the way, all the cookies came out delicious.

Yesterday we went over to our son Duane's house and watched football.  They cooked turkey fries.

They were delicious.

Tonight is KC CHIEFS football on Monday Night Football and of course Trick or Treaters.  I hope we have some.
