Home for the holidays

We are headed north for the holidays.  It does not seem like it has only been 30 days.

We left at 6:00 a.m. yesterday and spent the night in Denton, Texas.  Stopped and ate at The Salt Lick in Driftwood, Texas for lunch.  We had seen it on Food Network and it was just as good as they said.  If we are in the area again, we will definitely stop again.

I have looked at today's weather and see that all appears to be well until we get to Wichita.  Then the get to enjoy the ice pellets and snow.  At least we were smart enough not to bring any shorts.

We have a lot of places to go and people to see while home.

We went to Progrreso Mexico on Sunday.  It rained the whole time but the temperatures were in the upper 60s.  Bought some of our medications, ate lunch and came back to the states.  We are looking forward to going again when the weather is good.  One of my meds that cost $53 for 30 days was $14 for 60 days.  You can't beat it.
