Linda and I tried our luck yesterday. We didn't even get a strike.
The water is still muddy. It seems to be clearing up a little but is still out of it's banks by the spring. The road that goes past the spring is now passable but covered with running water.
There are not as many people catching fish other than down at Zone 3 where you can use bait. They are still catching fish. I have seen some nice ones.
We won't be going back until it clears up.
We went to Lebanon last night and had one of the best steaks we have ever had at the Madison Grill. It was a 24 ounce rib eye. We shared it and then brought enough home to have it for supper tonight. It was perfectly cooked and very tender. The salad was delicious as well as the baked potato. It is a little pricey but well worth the price for what you get. When we want a really great steak we would go back.
Right now it looks like we will be leaving here April 6 or 7 and heading to Sharp RV Park in St. Joseph for two or more months. Aha! I will be there to go to ROCKFEST in Kansas City on May 12th.
