New purchase for the birds

We have been really enjoying watching the birds.  Since we put the humming bird feeder up we have had several humming birds frequent it.  Of course the bees are there too, but it does not seem to bother the birds.

A couple of days ago we bought a very nice bird bath at a garage sale.  And the birds are loving it.

I have seen these at WalMart for over $50 and we only paid $20 for it.  Once again this is something that we wanted and enjoy so we won't turn it in as an expense.  It is well worth the small price we paid. 


We heard from the other couple that was suppose to replace us September 15th and they are tied up and won't be able to come back.  So I talked to the owner and we will stay until the last part of October before heading to Mission, Texas for our position starting there November 1. 

I was going to start cleaning up the broken limb from the wind storm the other day but I slept in this morning and it is to hot now.  So hopefully I will be up early enough tomorrow morning to work on it.  I have found out that we do any work we need to prior to 10:00 am.  After that we act like bats and stay inside until night.
