2013-11-28 HAPPY THANKSGIVING

It is Thanksgiving day.

It is 42 degrees here in Mission, Texas at 8:00 a.m. and going to get up to 66.  The sun is shinning and looks like a great day,

We will be having lunch at the recreation hall at 1:00.  There are 18 tables set up with a turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, and dressing at each one provided by the park.  Then the people at that table will bring side dishes.  Linda has the hot rolls in the pan raising and is working on mac and cheese, broccoli rice  casserole, relish tray, fresh green beans.  You would think she was going to feed an army.

I baked my Praline Pecan Pumpkin Torte yesterday and it stuck to the pans.  If we have time, we are going to try to make a trifle out of it.  Heck we may just eat it ourselves.  It will taste good, but is ugly.

God bless all and have a wonderful and thankful day.
