South Padre Island Part 2

Here are some pictures of the beach area.

Here is a picture of a man surf fishing.  I watched him for about 30 minutes and nothing happened.  I like bass fishing.  I can keep casting and pulling my lure back.  There is more action.

We ate lunch at Dirty Als.  This was some of the best shrimp and fish we have had.  The girl at the visitors center recommended it.  Anyone that knows Linda knows that she talks to everyone.  She talked to several people eating there and they said they no longer eat anywhere else.

And here is a picture for my RV friends of a oldie motor home in the RV park next to Dirty Als.  It sure was and oldie but it looked like it was still useful.

And last but not least a picture of the bridge as we were leaving.  This bridge had flashing lights warning when pelicans were fly so you would not run into them  Linda said the brown pelican is an endangered species.  We could not stop on the bridge so were unable to get a picture of them flying.

It was cloudy and windy with a temperature between 75 and 80 today.  We are glad we made the trip.
